Plans for the Sartfell Visitor Centre, which forms part of a larger masterplan for the Sartfell nature reserve have been approved by the Isle of Man’s planning department. The Island has recently been designated as a Unesco Biosphere Reserve which will help fortify the aims and principles behind the Sartfell nature reserve. Containing a library, education and exhibition space, the 66m2 visitor centre is dedicated to facilitating education and tourism for visitors to the nature reserve and will be the final phase of the masterplan.
